ULYSSES CLUB, YARRA RANGES BRANCH – CORONAVIRUS UPDATE 10:
From the President:

Well, we have taken the first steps back to some normality with the Yarra Ranges Branch Committee voting to re-establish official Branch Rides from today.

Gavin Martin has contacted the Ride Leaders and provided them with advice in the form of a Ride Leader’s Bulletin. The Bulletin follows the State Government Revised Restrictions on numbers, reaffirming distancing and with guidelines for completion of Ride Sheets by the TEC.

The information within the Ride Leader’s Bulletin is responsible and is aimed for ride participants to get back to riding in a sensible and practical manner but still remaining safe from infection.
If members choose to go on a ride in a group, it is a personal decision for each of the participants and it will be their personal responsibility to behave in accordance with Government Restrictions, Social Distancing, and personal hygiene.

Although Ken and Amanda’s mobile phone presently is not accepting calls, I will continue to attempt to contact them and advise our members when Brunch may reopen. Club Kilsyth will not be open to us in June and I will continue to communicate with their management to establish when our Monthly Social Evenings can recommence.

Let’s hope that there is some nice sunny weather in store for use in the next few weeks and we can get out on a Ulysses Club, Yarra Ranges Branch Ride and have some fun.

Remember, we are still in the midst of the Coronavirus Pandemic so we must be diligent and remain safe.
