KERRISDALE MOUNTAIN TRAIN 12 th April

Kerrisdale Mountain Train - 12th April 2015.




Sunday turned out with a beautiful sunny day with clear blue skies and no wind.
Ten bikes and two cars (Danny and Peter) left Yarra Glen, thru Mt Slide, Kinglake onto Flowerdale Hotel.
The pub hosts had scones, jam and cream with tea and coffee awaiting our arrival. Thanks Steve and Viv.
Onto Kerrisdale via Strath Creek to meet the Steam king of the rails - Andrew and Jennifer.
These two - husband and wife - are about the two nicest people you will ever meet. Andrew's knowledge is
incredible and his workmanship and museum is outstanding.  The little narrow guage train  zig zags
to the mountain peak.  Without doubt one of the very best days we had ever had.
Lunch was at Yea and the ride home was great,
All those who attended had a great day and we thoroughly recommend it to all
P.S - great to see Danny out with us again and soaking up the sun, and great company
