Kerrisdale Mountain Train - Sunday 4 November

Ride Report - Kerrisdale Mountain Train -
Hi all, Roger Petrucci led a ride today to The Kerrisdale Mountain Railway - there were 13 starters on 11 bikes and 1 car. It was great little ride out to Kerrisdale on dry & clean roads. It was great to see a number of new faces coming on a Branch ride for the first time. The mountain railway is an interesting set up where the owners give you a run down on all of the steam toys from the yesteryears (Fonzes Era). Following the steam tour, it was time to jump aboard the little mountain train. As we are heading to the summit (top of the hill), there are several stops where the driver gives a history lesson of the local area. The group then were off to the Flowerdale Pub for a bite to eat.
