FYI - Buttermans Track is now fully sealed, albeit with loose stones still covering the bitumen. Nice scenic route from YG to StAndrews is via Mt Wise Rd, then Buttermans

Todays ride up Mt Donna Buang to the look out was absolutely fantastic even allowing for the frequent wet patches.Many years ago I used to live in Seville and back then would spend every Sunday morning in Church and then as soon as that was done would scream up and down Mt Donna Buang on whatever the ride of the day was but I still have very fond memories of 1 Suzuki GSX 400-4 which had good ground clearance and good brakes so riding up the Mountain today after an absence of nearly thirty years was a great joy...........happy days as my father would say
Todays rabble included the big fella moose on the B Double Leafy on his B Double Skinny John (Persian dance expert) relative newbie rider Anna Honda 300 who continues to ride very well everyready roger BMW who suggested our lunch venue which was bloody fabulous Paul on the 650 Yammie who kept up at a neat clip very smooth and Troy a very experienced berrabri bikers member on the mega quick Honda Blade .Good to have you on board mate
The road conditions riding up Mt Donna Buang required judicous use of throttle percentage and every rider did that to perfection and got the buzz out of achieving that.The view from the lokout tower was amazing .............city skyscrapers with brisbane ranges in the background
