Mt Franklin ride

Weather was not the best, as Melbourne was nearly blown away the night before.
The weather for Sunday, early showers then clearing top temp 19 Degree
Left home around 7am, 5 minutes later riding to Yarra Glen, the heavens open up.
I really thought nobody would turn up, To my surprise 10 brave riders showed up for the ride.
Started to rain again just as we left Yarra Glen
Turned left into Eltham Rd to Kangaroo Ground – Wattle Glen - Hurstbridge - Arthurs Creek – Yan Yean – Whittlesea. First stop Macca's, The sun was breaking though, roads were now dry. From there Whittlesea to Wallan – Woodend 2nd break, After 3 and a half hours arrived at Mt Franklin.
Yarra Ranges running the BBQ where doing a amazing job. Thanks go to K2, Bruce, Bree, Placid, Sue and Pam sorry if I forgot someone I do have K.R.A.F.T
Stayed for a couple of hours, then returned to Kangaroo Ground where the ride finished.
