KERRISDALE MOUNTAIN TRAIN
SUNDAY   OCTOBER  2 nd                               
LEAVING  YARRA GLEN  9.30 AM
RETURN BY 3.30 PM               -  TOTAL DISTANCE  - 175 K’s
RIDE LEADER -    Manda STEVENSON

Kerrisdale Mountain Railway is a unique scenic rail –privately run by volunteers
It zig zags its way through mountain scenery to  “Summit Station” and return over a 45 minute trip.
Also included is full demonstration of engines and a railway and steam museum.   Kiosk facilities available and a luncheon can be provided.
Cost – if our numbers are 20 plus – we get concession of  $12. Per head
Concession also available for pension or health card holders.  $12.
Without group or pension concessions  -  full adult price  =  $15.
Planned ride  --  Yarra Glen to Strath Creek – via Break O Day  Rd. 
            Tea/coffee and scones at Strath Creek pub. $5.oo
            Onto Kerrisdale – 15 minutes towards Seymour/
            Train booked  for 12 midday
          Return to Yea to hit the Bakeries for lunch
Leave for return trip – via Melba Hwy – to Yarra Glen  (finish)

PLEASE NOTE --   From the Highway  -  The driveway up to the train station and kiosk – is graded gravel surface – somewhat steep – approx. 500 meters – not bad – but be cautious.
