CHANGES TO YARRA RANGES BRANCH COMMITTEE

Unfortunately, Mick Crofts has resigned as Welfare Officer and Yarra Ranges Branch committee member. Mick’s decision follows an incident with another member that has had a prolonged resolution. In Mick’s judgement, he felt that he could no longer remain in either role.

Mick has been an excellent Welfare Officer and a valuable committee member and we thank him for his contribution to our Branch. We look forward to enjoying Mick’s company around the Yarra Ranges Branch for many years.

Mick’s resignation created a casual vacancy on the committee and under clause 21 of the Ulysses Club Constitution, the committee has appointed Tom Lacey (Ulysses member 57641) to fill the vacancy. Welcome aboard, Tom.

Current committee member Geoff Greenhalgh has agreed to take on the Welfare Officer role and we thank Geoff for his ongoing commitment.

In recent times there have been isolated instances of anti-social, aggressive and violent behaviour within the Yarra Ranges Branch. SUCH BEHAVIOURS HAVE NO PLACE IN OUR BRANCH AND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.
