Update on Kathy

Kathy has been shifted back into rehab to learn how to cope with the 'jewellery'' on her leg. She will be in there next week and she's somewhat disappointed (to say the least) after her surgeon had told her she would be home this weekend. On the bright side, I've got another week to clean the house up
She's back at South Eastern Private Hospital - Boronia Ward, Room 320. If anyone has time for a visit, I'm sure she would be happy to have a chat!!

That's great news Kathy. Having a date to go home is always good news. Looking forward to catching up soon at Brunch to compare notes. Hope the take home frame is not too bad.

Good to see the progress happening

Kathy was moved back into Valley Private Hospital yesterday. She was operated on last night to remove the framework from her leg and repair the damaged bones in her ankle. She has been fitted with another (more portable) frame. This frame will allow her to weight bare ( walk) and will be her fashion accessory for a few weeks whilst the repaired bones heal.  Her surgeon says the she will be able come home at the end of the week.
