Perhaps we should prepare a Yarra Ranges Branch register and send it to them in a block
rather than individually. Even if we don't know dates yet. Important to get something
going if we want to take advantage of arrangements being made with TT Line and the
Ulysses Club discounts.

If you're thinking of going to Tassie for the 2016 AGM in Launceston, a website has been set up by Mark Freestone, the Ride Co-ordinator at Macdeon Ranges, where you can indicate your intention to travel on the Spirit of Tasmania. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Mark writes:

"On Friday the 21st of November a delegation of Ulysses members representing Victoria, NSW, ACT and SA were guests of TT Line ( Spirit of Tasmania ) and went on a familiarization trip to Tasmania in preparation for the 2016 Launceston AGM. Many facets of the ship and AGM were covered and in the coming weeks I will be sending a report with as many details regarding the trip as possible.

Hosted by Fiona Sturman, their Sales Development Representative, it was to promote the 2016 AGM, the Spirit of Tasmania and inform people of the quality of service offered by TT Line.

As a follow up to this we will be arranging times where Fiona will come and speak directly to members answering any questions they may have regarding their travel to Devonport in Feb 2016."

Bookings are not currently open, but the webpage can be used to register your interest if you are reasonably confident that you will be going to the AGM. Registering on the webpage does not guarantee availabilty and it is not a booking, but it will assist TT lines in planning as well as enabling them to email you when bookings open.

Hop to it! The sooner you register the better!
