Ride Cancelled.

an update to this story

after 3.5 weeks of pain and infection I just had to bite the bullet (or tooth in my case) and head back to the dentist. the cause was remnants of half the wisdom tooth allegedly removed the first time??!! had broken off when trying to get it out and left to go septic in my mouth!!

back to the dentist to get the remnants taken out, dentist says "well no charge for that" damn straight I say..

dont want to see a dentist now for ooh lets say a thousand years.     

at least i can finally pull on a motorbike helmet couldnt do that for weeks!!

Hi all,

Sorry to do this but I need to cancel tomorrow's ride to Mornington markets.
I had my 2nd wisdom tooth out late on Wed afternoon however it took half an hour of twisting and pulling as it didn't want to budge.

In the end both the dentist and I were both haggard!!

Unfortunately it is taking much longer to heal than anticipated and despite a steady diet of Nurofen I cannot think of anything worse than pulling a motorbike helmet over my sore jawbone!!

Just in case not everybody reads this I will go down to the start in case anybody shows up.
It is Mothers day tomorrow so wasn't sure how many takers I would have got anyway??
