Re: DISPLAYING REGO LABELS
If you leave an expired rego label on, you can be prosecuted because it is expired and not because it is displayed while being expired. I'm with Ron on it is irrelevent if you leave your rego label on or not. Personally, I took mine off to decorate my garage. As I had the chrome YR Ulysses rego holder, I might put that back on but with something else displayed (no decision on that yet).
This is my opinion only.

Re: DISPLAYING REGO LABELS
Think this is a bit silly - can't figure this one out at all.
If you don't have to have any Rego on because its no longer required by Law how can you be prosected for having it on after its expired??
After 1 Jan it just became just anther bit of the bike - albeit a useless bit!!
Why on earth would you want to leave it on anyway???
Bit of a no brainer.

Re: DISPLAYING REGO LABELS
Thought came to me this morning when I noticed my current rego label sitting on work bench in garage.
If it was an offence to display a non current rego label (and I've been ticked off about this previously) will it still be an offence, ie, must we remove the old label one the rego has expired?
Removing the old rego label may be something we need to remember to do? I dunno?

DISPLAYING REGO LABELS
In case you did not know, you no longer need to display a Rego Lable on a light vehicle including motorcycles and trailers from 1 Jan 14. See this link to Vicroads site: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
