BLACK DOG APPEAL

Further to previous posts regarding funds raised for this Appeal at Breakfast at Bernies, I would like to confirm that a total of $250 was raised and has been forward to the Black Dog Foundation.

Although attendance was down this year (possibly due to the weather and the breakfast being held on a Sunday as opposed to previous summer Saturdays), the Appeal total almost matched the amount raised last year.  We were down 25 people this year but donations were received from members who were unable to attend, plus we had growing support from local traders in supplying food for the breakfast.  Gourmet hot cross buns and Roses chocolates must be a first for a charity fundraiser!
