DEFINATELY ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR

Leaving from corner of Springvale and Whitehorse roads Nunawading - must meet up early so as to complete ride sheet
and any last minute amendments to the Point Cook entry sheet.
By Saturday 21st May all persons interested in attending this event will be expected to complete an identification sheet.
Point Cook is an operational RAAF base and entry is strictly controlled. A full list of members attending will need to be
handed to the Ride Co ordinator by 21 st May. Members full names, vehicle reg, phone number and DRIVERS LICENCE ID
will be required.

The ride will leave Nunawading at 0900 hrs - heading to Werribee to visit the Liberator. This distance is @ 65 k's and takes @ 1hr.20

We expect to meet other branches at Werribee to view the plane. Arrangements have been made for an engine run if we want one.

Entry to the Bomber is @5. - tea biscuits and scones can be purchased in the display ( all work is voluntary and they rely on this money)
It is @5 extra for an engine run.

We plan to leave Werribee and ride to Point Cook. a distance of 12 k's - 17 minutes.

Entry to the base is free ( subject to the ID procedure)

Our Branch BBQ Trailer will be waiting with is usual array of foodies. $ 5 @ head will feed the hungry.

Entry to the museum (alongside our lunch area) is a gold coin donation.

A flying display and presentation is conducted at 1 pm.

Members will be free to tour the museums at their leisure and depart to return home as individuals ( no planned group ride home)
