VINTAGE, VETERAN and CLASSIC cars
Eleven Y.R members turned up at the Melb Steam Centre for free entry to Dandenong Car Club display.
We had barely walked in after parking outside the gates, when we were asked to ride our bikes (and 2 Can Ams) into the grounds display area and become part of the show.
The cars on display were many and varied, lot's of model T's, Buick's, Chev's, Hupmobile, Austins of various models, and lot's of others. Quite a variety of steam and kero engines working and access was open to workshops and all displays, all in all a worthwhile easy morning with food and drinks available at reasonable cost, and generally well attended, very interesting stuff for anyone the slightest bit interested in our mechanical past.
Regards Mick.
