well done Henri!!!
Most well deserved Henri. as far as I have read the Dearnley medal appears to be one that is not readily given and only in examples of long standing service to the club for many years.
and to also get a position on Natcom, that is great, are you the only vic representative I dont know? but I will say probably so.
They need a southerner!!! Cheers from sheri and Kevin.

Congratulations Henri Rokx!!!!!
Congratulations to Henry Rokx who has been Award the Dearnley Medal at today’s AGM.
These are few and far between and this is the first such Award issued to a member of the Yarra Ranges Branch.
It started last year prior to the Branch’s 10th Anniversary when Dan Smith suggested to me on the quiet we apply for a Telemachus Award for Henry in time for the Anniversary but unfortunately we soon found out we were too late to apply for any. However when we checked the criteria for the 3 awards (the 3rd is life membership of Ulysses) and after some consultation with Natcom in particularly Perry Stephens, we felt the Dearnley medal was the most appropriate award to be presented at the AGM.
Last year’s Yarra Ranges Committee unanimously agreed to apply for the medal without Henry’s knowledge and with Perry’s help, I drafted the application. A few months later we were advised that Natcom unanimously approved the award.
At the time of posting, I am on my way back south straight after the Grand Parade at Alice Springs and am not currently aware how successful his nomination for Natcom Committee has been but I'm sure we will hear in due course.
