Twin Spur Rally November 2019

For those who went to Marysville this past weekend, there's not a lot more to say. You were there and saw it all. For those that couldn't make it, you need to see what you can do next year because it was one of the best yet.
The various rides via different roads up were enjoyed in fine weather.
The Friday night entertainment was hilarious and all joined in to various degrees to make a top night. Special thanks to Snake for putting in a lot of effort and preparation. Along with his beautiful assistant Peter.
After breakfast on the Sat, all three ride groups set off together from the park on a joint ride to start, led by our president Stewart. The quick group split off at Taggerty to run the Eildon to Jamison road. The main group continued through Alexandra to Eildon via Skyline road for coffee. Then past the rearing and inquisitive tiger snake on the dam wall for a group photo, (without the snake) before the adventure group split off to run the Acheron Way. And the remaining riders took a leisurely ride back to Marysville, all in warm sunshine.
Then it was Henry's annual horse racing and on to dinner in the local community hall. A good meal from Hot Rods roasts and everyone getting around the tables to have a good time. Special thanks to Roger for putting in a lot of the organising and to Snake again for stepping in with the music. A few then retreated to the local pub the Duck Inn for more music and tall tales till closing.
On Sun it was a slow start for some and most went home at their leisure.
Special thanks to our club photographer, Ian, who pulled together a lot of excellent photo's. And lastly to everyone who attended, helped in any way, and made the weekend a success.
