'Fonzies' third car rally had a brilliant turnout of attendees today, more than 30 individuals participated in todays event, and, judging from  the enthusiasm of those returning to lunch, the day was yet again an "overwhelming success"!
Fonz, your dedication to getting it right is only surpassed by the fact that all returning ralliers were full of praise for a fun day, they can't possibly be aware of the enormous amount of planning, driving, correcting, fact finding and then doing it all again too make sure it's going to be good! did I mention driving the route 5 times? both ways? and no-one even noticed the clockwise group were to be uneven numbers and vice-versa for counter clockwise, however, nobody lost points for it either!
"Fast Ed and Marie did excellent duty on the BBQ, Lorraine was dealing out buttered bread like a croupier from Crown Casino, and Brin and Homer were left out in the cold waiting for stragglers, and like great corner markers, didn't come in 'til called (almost forgot them) fortunately, some food was still there for them.
We thought a draw for 1st might be on 'til the last moments when the collecting bags and photo's were counted in and this really showed some enterprise with what went into the bags!
Mr and Mrs Snake helped with 'tallying up, and Fonz in a moment of "I don't know what" gave the microphone to Snake!!! I have to say tho', he did a brilliant job of MCing, while Amanda, Fonz and I tallied scores.
Final giveaways were wine and car rugs, and a quick puzzle quiz saw these items well placed, altogether, a great day out, mustn't forget Kalvin for organising the tennis club for us! Just a terrific day for our club, Fonz and helpers.
