Both Dalyston and Kilcunda have well-established pubs (Kilcunda with the better food) within a 5min radius of Archies Creek.
Just thinking aloud...

After checking out Archies Creek pub - completing three recce rides - tasting the cuisine and  MAKING A BOOKING ......
 I was contacted yesterday ( 15 Feb.) to be informed that THEY WILL NOT BE OPEN ON MARCH 12.


THEREFORE - THE RIDE SCHEDULED MARCH 12 TO ARCHIES CREEK HAS TO BE CANCELLED.

SOMETIMES ALL OUR BEST EFFORTS END BELLY UP THRU NO FAULT OF OURS.
