Yes, there was a sad lack of wooden pens - but if I remember rightly, in Alex the wooden pen makers didn't even get me over the line!

Oh well. Guess I'll just have to give up on the scoot and get on the back of a real bike - which I'm assured I'll look good on Wink

Bad luck Sue. But I guess there was noone selling wooden pens.
(I would have voted for you) Pity I was on the way home from Renmark.

I have to agree with Sue, and it was a good day, and Mark (aka TOEY) won the votes on the day, which just shows their is no accounting for taste, and that Sue tried hard to gerrymander the vote and have a SCOOTER voted Best Bike, wasn't going to happen! Don took anyone interested thru' the workshops, which was very interesting, and I for one had a great day. Regards Mick.

Thanks to the 17 bikes that turned up today. A very successful event. $107 was raised for Very Special Kids. Congrats to Mark Thompson on winning the prize for most votes. Thanks to all for pitching in to sell votes and chat with kids, mums and dads checking out the bikes.

Fundraising event for "Very Special Kids", at Box Hill Miniature Steam Railway Society, Elgar Park, Box Hill North, on Sunday 3rd May, 2015.

We will do a show n shine in the carpark as we have in the past.  Details of the time etc will be provided closer to the date.  I think we've usually done 10.00am to 1.00pm or something similar.

Details to Follow closer to day but lock it in.
