Wonderful day all round. Great company as usual. We even had a great run home.

Thanks for a great day out , Bruce, Sue and all involved in making a terrific ride with lunch on a windy day. Beats the pants off cutting the grass or other trivial home pursuits, and really, where would you rather be than enjoying 'the great outdoors' with a beaut 'bunch of people. Regards Mick

Wow! A great day for a ride on good roads with excellent company! Thanks Ron for TEC'ing and Sue for liaising with our morning tea and lunch spots. Also to Bob and Kathy for stepping in and taking over as Ride leader when my fuel flow issues pulled me up on Skyline and then on the return ride. Red Plate Café STUFFED us and we still haven't gone near dinner!

Re: Ride to the Red Plate Cafe, Sunday 28th September
Thanks for that Snake.
For all interested in doing the ride, we need you to fix Sue up no later than Saturday, 20th. That gives 2 Saturdays to catch us up. A number have fixed us up for lunch but quite a number have said they intend to do the ride but haven't arranged for lunch. As we have to pre-pay half a week before the ride, we appreciate it if you can help us out this way.
Personally, I'm looking forward to riding it all again.

It is listed in the Ride section but it's happening from 9.30am from Yarra Glen and ending up there, via Healesville, The Skyline (Alexandra) and lunch at the iconic Red Plate Café. This is a new venture in Yea that is run as the dream of a motorbike and classic car enthusiast with the able assistance of trained foodies. As we're riding there as a group, we are making a group booking for lunch, with minimum numbers of 20. As we have to pre-pay 50% non-refundable, I'm asking for those who want to participate in the ride to book by paying the $22 cost/head to Sue or me.
