Re: Alan Judd
Good to hear that Alan is on the mend. We may be in Alice Springs, but we are still thinking
of him. Give him our regards if you are talking to him at all. We'll be back late next week.

Alan rang this morning with the good news he will be transferred back to Box Hill hospital in the next few days, so anyone planning to visit StV's should ring first. He is also most grateful to all who did visit and/or wished him a speedy recovery, and his GetWell card is still on prominent display. He will be in a general ward at Box Hill and I will endeavour to let you all know details as I get them. Regards Mick

Alan rang me from the hospital tonight, to let me know all his current tests have shown him to be Virus, and Infection free, which obviously pleases him no end, it would hopefully seem he is nearing the end of his hospital stay, with perhaps a bit of physio and some strength recovery to get him back onto his new scooter. No heart problems have been found, so he is looking forward to complete recovery and return to 2 wheels and his Ulysses friends, it's all he cares about at the moment. Regards Mick C

Phil and I rode in to see alan this afternoon, he looks and sounds much improved, however, he's having some sort of internal heart examination tomorrow, but I feel it's precautionary, just too be on the safe side. All being well he may be looking at being transferred back to Box Hill soon? He would still love to hear from anyone with the time to call, number is 9288-2211 room 17-8 east. He is still getting a lot of delight from Ulysses card, I don't think there is a doctor or nurse who isn't aware of his 2 wheeled friends, and all being good with tests tomorrow, I feel it's safe to say he is on the improve. Regards Mick C.
Re: Alan Judd
I'm glad that there seems to be some light at the tunnel for Alan. I may run out of time
this week to get a chance to go and see him before we head north. If anyone has a chance
to see him, please give him our best wishes.

Phil and I rode in to see alan this afternoon, and whilst he's not out of the 'woods' yet, he was much brighter than when dave and I saw him on friday. We had a chat with his doctor and it seems all his current ailments stem from a knee infection which then travelled thru' his system resulting in the eye infection etc, they were doing tests today hopefully to ensure it hasn't affected his heart, the doctor felt he is slowly getting better, but expects it will be a few more weeks before he can be transferred back to Box Hill. I only wish I could show you all in an E'mail the grin on alan's face when Phil and I showed him and read out the well wishes on the card Bernie brought around on saturday . Regards Mick C.
