It wouldn't upload a couple of others so I'll try them in a separate post.

Memorial ride today

Post by bikechickadee on Sun Feb 16 2014, 16:43

I would like to thank all the speakers, helpers and cooks on the memorial ride today. A sombre, solemn day but also a good opportunity to remember and honour our members who have sadly ridden on. I think the turnout despite the threatening weather reflects this. Bruce and Henry you did a great job of reflecting why we ride, the biker ethos and you both paid a fitting tribute to our members who have ridden on. I'm sure they would have been looking on nodding and applauding you both. The flowers on behalf of the branch was a lovely touch too. Also very fitting that a memorial plaque was put on the branch trailer so that newer members become aware of how it came to be. Amen. Sheri and Kevin.
