Well it wasn't supposed to be 37 deg it was meant to be 33deg with a late morning cool change hence I thought arshort ride would be good. Well things don't always go to plan weather wise and it was already hot & blustery by the time I got to Kilsyth maccas.
The plan was to go straight up the hwy the usual way to the Choclaterie and then back via the back lanes and twisty back roads of Healesville Gruyere Wand in and back to brunch.
Any plans for hot chocolates were ditched due to the heat and Zenny and I went straight for an ice cream each instead plus a few glasses of water.
Went down a treat, the boys decided to stay outside in the heat!! to chat.
Not as far as I thought on the hwy straight there only 27km but the return via the roads less travelled was 45 km giving us a total of 72km.
It was really starting to heat up by 11:50 when we got back to maccas.
Many thanks to Zenny, Graeme and Peter for joining me and Mr Suzuki following in the car.
Thanks Graeme for being TEC even though it sort of wasn't needed much.
