Extended NatCom meeting 2019
Yarra Ranges was represented by Pam Roberts and myself. Generally these meeting are an opportunity for Branch Presidents / Secretaries to take part in a NATCOM meeting. The key take outs of this meeting was:
- An update on the 2019 Rally and the learnings that should flow on to Lismore in 2020
- spoke about the rally numbers with 1200 registrations. We spoke about the future of Rallies / costs - simple equation is that if AGMs are not attended then something will need to give.
- spoke about funds being held by Branches - question was asked why are Branches hanging onto large sums of money when the money can be utilised with charities ie; UCARF
- the 2022 Rally location was announced being Warwick in SE Queensland - Date to be finalised.
- Westgate Wanderers Branch & President we’re recognised for outstanding Efforts in the ongoing support of two of their members who received significant life changing injuries whilst on the 2016 Tas AGM
