Ride report for Arthurs seat ride. 150km return. 8 of us plus 1 canine!! A very well behaved Hamish.. we left Scoresby under threatening skies. Luckily we all stayed dry. Up the windy road to Arthurs seat dodging cyclists on the way. Coffees all round up the top & then 3 of us .Fonze Chris O and I took a very scenic ride on the new chairlift a nice short trip but great views all the same.( Tracey & Chris C had work back home so they went back after Arthurs Seat & so did Milt the remaining 5 of us continued on) A much more comfy and safer ride than the old lift. After the chairlift we decided to take the beautiful little back roads from Red Hill out to Balnarring magnificent road with light traffic. Then into Red hill bakery which is actually at Balnarring!! For a yummy lunch and drink. 87km from scoresby up to AS & Then out to Balnarring. A jazz band played inside whilst we opted to eat outside after lunch we decided to go our separate ways and i was greatly surprised at the light traffic along Westernport highway then onto the monash. Folks must be watching Bathurst or in their garden so a very cruisey ride home an enjoyable way to spend a spring day!! Thanks for coming folks. And Milt great job as tail end Charlie thank you!!
