The annual Vision Australia - 'In the Driver Seat' - day at Sandown was conducted on Sunday July 2 nd.

As always Ed KUPPENS  (Homer) organized the day with all his usual best effort and enthusiasm to ensure that the
people less fortunate that us , were able to have a great day -  for  sum it is the highlight they really look forward to.

The morning was rather brisk, but the hearty showed up in excellent numbers to take people for a joy ride.

The bikes numbers about 22 and a further 6 spyders were on tap to give the kids (and adults) a great ride.

A number of club branches attended with riders from Sheerwaters, Whittlesea and Yarra Ranges.

The Customline car club - with a few non Customline beautiful cars also thrilled the vision disabled people
with rides around the track

Bikes were not permitted to take pillions on the track,  but the bikes had a half hour of circuit joy.

Despite a bit of a schmozzle at the start with Sandown rules throwing a spanner in the works.. it all
got sorted out and some 170 vision disabled people had a very enjoyable and rewarding day.

Many. many. many thanks must go to Homer for his excellent contribution to ensure that these
less fortunate people had a great day.
