Noojee Toolshed Run - Sunday 26 March 2017
Ride Report - Noojee Toolshed Run - Sunday 26 March 2017
What a magnificent day for a run out to the Noojee Toolshed. This ride was the Mt Franklin replacement ride and we could not have picked a better day to go to the Toolshed for one of their famous Billyburgers. The temperature was just right, no wind and no threat of rain meant that we all moved along at a reasonable speed. Our Ride leader Terry "Pinky" Floyd led us up to Harkaway, Gembrook and then onto Launching Place and then onto Noojee. Terry being the ultimate ride leader made sure that he gave us all the tourist look around Launching place by making a couple of unexpected turns along the way. Overall, a very enjoyable ride that saw 17 bikes out for the run. Our TEC for the day was Ferri who managed NOT to lose anybody despite how hard the ride leader tried. For those that haven't experienced the tool shed at Noojee, its certainly a blast from the past with lots of olden day relics and they also do great food. Thanks for the ride Pinky!
Regards CC
