MID WEEK RIDE - FEB 8th
A group of nine riders met today to resume the mid week (Wednesday) Rides. One member called at Brunch for our 10 o'clock gathering, dressed in sneakers and shorts (exposing his hairy legs) but was suffering the effects of a cold - so we all thought it best that he said his hello's and returned to his car and kept his germs to himself. The highlight then arrived on an orange Yamaha - removal of the helmet revealed Lynne - it was great to see her back on her wheels as she has not had the best of health recently.
Fonz led this little group of enthusiasts through Belgrave, Emerald and some new not seen before nice twisties into Pakenham via the back door. A good old serving of Maccas was just the thing for a stop and relax for a while - where some very bad jokes were shared.
The return trip was via Army Rd to Gembrook, Cockatoo, Emerald, Monbulk and home.
Just enough to take in the pleasant sunshine, easy roads ( all to ourselves) lovely company and the roar of nine bikes.
What a great way to put in a morning - actually without even a thought of those still working - and be home before the heat of the day.
As always .. Homer brought up the rear as TEC - well done - and I hope all enjoyed the ride
Cheers .. FONZ.
