NOTICE OF 2017 BRANCH AGM AND AGENDA

The Yarra Ranges Branch AGM will be held on Thursday 23rd February, 2017, commencing at 8pm, at Club Kilsyth.  Members are reminded that they will be required to sign in and produce their current membership card.  Non-members are welcome as observers.

The agenda for the meeting is below.


1. To receive and confirm the minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 28th January 2016.

2. To receive the report of the President on the branch’s activities for the year.

3. To receive the Secretary’s report.

4. To receive the Treasurer’s report and if considered appropriate adopt the financial report for the year ended 31 December 2016.

5. To elect Office Bearers and Ordinary Committee Members for the 2017 year.

In accordance with the clause 33 (a) of the Ulysses Club Constitution all committee positions will be declared vacant, and the following persons have been properly nominated for the positions as indicated:

Webmaster – Barry Hay, Ron Phillips (Election required)
Social Co-ordinator – None Received
General (3 positions available) – Barry Hay, Tom Lacey, Ron Phillips, Stewart Westfield

Note that an election is NOT required for the General positions as the General nomination of the successful candidate for the Webmaster position will lapse, leaving 3 nominations for 3 positions.

6. To conduct any other business of which proper notice has been given.
