Re: Ewan's Transplant News
Fantastic news Tina and Ewan. It is great to see the support you get from this wonderful Branch of ours, and it is testament
to the high regard we all hold you guys in. You really mean a lot to us.
News like this makes the rest of us realize that our little problems pale into insignificance and we can look up to you
two as an inspiration of what can be achieved and how the real people cope with their issues.
Luv to see you guys back in full swing very very soon
Cheers FONZ ..

Re: Ewan's Transplant News
There would seem to be never enough pain and trouble in yours and Ewan's health issues, I don't know how you both cope as well as you do, with a minimum of complaint about "your lot", two lovely people, you have both shared enough pain for many, let's hope brighter days are ahead for you!
Regards Mick.

Ewan's Transplant News
I'm writing this on behalf of Ewan, he did ride the white Honda or the 'Volvo' as we liked to call it. You may have seen Ewan around, pretty short of breath when he walked and not able to ride anymore.
Well he got the most amazing call from the Alfred Thursday night to say they have a set of healthy lungs for him. It was a call we never expected to receive.
So he had a double lung transplant on Friday morning which has gone really well so far. It is truly amazing to see him able to breath without effort.
I decided to put this up as I truly can't put into words the gift we have received from an unknown family who are grieving as we celebrate. My four wonderful kids have got their dad back and our grandchild (Ava) and one on the way have their Poppa back. He can play with them now, he will be here to watch them grow.
Please talk to your partners about organ donation, to be a family receiving this gift, there is no words. But In some small way of paying it forward, just making people aware of how precious life is and what organ donation can mean.
