The Yarra Ranges Branch committee consists of the 3 office bearer positions and 7 other positions that are ordinary committee positions. Yarra Ranges choose to assign roles to some of those positions but they remain ordinary committee positions.

According to the Ulysses Constitution clause 31 (v) a minimum of 3 ordinary committee members are required to make up the branch committee. I do not see a reason necessitating an election for these places. Please reconsider need to do what you have suggested.

The following is an update of nominations for the 2016 Committee.
As of today, Saturday December 19, the following nominations have been received:
President:  Kevin White (K2)
Secretary:  Denise Greenhalgh
Treasurer:  Liz Phillips
Quartermaster:  Ferri Anvari.  
Ride Co-ordinator:  John Eckhardt (Fonzie)
Welfare Officer:  Mick Crofts
Webmaster:  Ron Phillips
Social Co-ordinator:  Pam Roberts
Editor:  (none received)
General Committee:  Chris Collins, Tom Lacey, Geoff Greenhalgh.  
In the absence of a nomination for an Editor, an election will be required to appoint two General Committee members from the three current nominations.

A reminder that any financial member may be nominated in writing for more than one position on the Branch Committee.  Each nomination must be on a separate form and lodged with the Branch Secretary (me) in person or by mail to PO Box 771 Lilydale 3140.  Nomination forms must be received by 8pm on December 31 2015.  Nominations received after this date and time cannot be accepted.  Please note that sending your nomination form by mail may be valid but risky regarding getting to me in time at this time of year.

The Yarra Ranges Branch AGM will be held on Thursday January 28, 2016 at our monthly social dinner at Club Kilsyth.

All Committee Positions will be declared vacant and nominations for the following positions are now open:

President, Secretary, Treasurer, Quartermaster, Ride Co-ordinator, Welfare Officer, Webmaster, Social Co-ordinator, Grapevine Editor and up to 3 General Committee members to make a total committee of 10.

Any financial member may be nominated in writing for more than one position on the Branch Committee. Each nomination must be on a separate form and lodged with the Branch Secretary in person or by mail to PO Box 771 Lilydale 3140. Nomination forms must be received by 8pm on 31 December, 2015. Nominations received after this date and time cannot be accepted.
