Hi Sue,
I thought you'd really look good on the back of one! Hahaha.

We had 16 around the table for morning cuppa at Caldermeade Dairy, on 14 bikes. All corner markers and TEC did a brilliant job. The leader took a wrong turn once and recovered well. My story is we were running so well I had to slow the ride down so we would get to Caldermeade punctually at 9.30am Embarassed Weather was threatening and drops did fall but not a lot so we joined the mob at Mirboo North on time and safely after some good riding from Lang Lang to Korumburra with good sweepers leading to Mirboo North.
The event had 2,000 last year and they were hoping for 5,000 this year. I guesstimate they probably had 3,000 tops. They were very well organised and directed all the bikes past a 'blessing station' (my definition) where each bike was sprinkled and then we were all parked in such a way we could get out any time. We were parked down the centre of the main road - impressive. Bikes varied and Ulysses was very well represented. One couple we spoke with came down from the sunshine coast, but I suspect not specifically for the Blessing (already blessed). There were various stalls and Harley and Victory/Indian both had stands. The guy on the Victory stand was quite helpful and complimentary as Sue checked out the Scout and the Chief Vintage.
There was a young rock band on the main stage and later they had a flyby of a crop duster and a helicopter dropping petals, before a very short moment of silence, broken by revving of an assortment of bikes, from a postie, to a Ducati Darmah, a couple of sporties, and a Boss Hoss V8.
We left on to Trafalgar via Thorpdale where we stopped for fuel. As a number wanted to head straight back, we took a straw poll vote and finished the ride there, all returning via the Princes Hwy.
Thanks all, especially Ron
