Very sad news to learn of Danny's death. My sincere condolences to his family. Danny was one of those larger than life guys, one you instantly liked. I remember he was one of the first people to ensure that I felt at home when I joined the Yarra Ranges Ulysses Club. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humour and camaraderie.

it is with a heavy heart that we must say goodbye to a great bloke, kind in so many ways, i never heard him say a bad word against anyone. he will be missed but never forgotten.

It is with much sadness to learn that our Ulysses mate Danny has lost his battle with cancer.
He will be fondly remembered for his contribution to the Yarra Ranges branch and for his friendship with fellow Ulyssians.

I am very very sorry to hear of Danny's Passing away. I will miss you Danny, particularly on those Saturday mornings sitting down for a cup and a feed just outside of the cafe door. You were positive and gave it to the face of reality in every way you could!!! You lived to the Ulysses Motto!!!

We would like to add our condolences to those of Danny's many friends in the Yarra Ranges Ulysses.
He was a friend to all and apart from Saturday mornings he often call round here or we'd catch him with Denny's group at the Launching Place store on a Sunday morning.
I last spoke to Danny a couple of weeks ago when I rang him from Port Douglas to "complain" about a watch he had sold me recently and although he was obviously in some pain we had a laugh and I got abused - as usual!
Got home from the trip last night hoping to visit him. Very sadly too late.

An outstanding guy, who collectively we will all sadly miss. Danny befriended every new face which wandered around like a lost sheep at Brunch, introducing them into our branch, I was one of them, always friendly and welcoming. Saturday mornings will not be the same without him wandering around for a chat with clipboard in hand raising money for the $100 draw. Danny was a person who made time for everyone. The Saturday raffle will not be the same without him, but will always be there to remind us of his humour and love for the club. He was a great help to me in my time as Ride Coordinator, and for that I will always be grateful.  It was good to see that Danny got to take the golden Deauville out before illness made it impossible for him to ride. It was a very ad moment when we got the message about Danny's passing.
It was not unexpected, but still a shock. At least now he can rest in peace. He
was a very good friend for many years and we shared many good times on some
memorable rides. We will miss him a lot. Saturday mornings will not be the same

Danny you will be missed by all. A true Gentleman who every one know for his sense of hummer and love of the the Ulysses club. I had a lot to do with Danny as I sold him his carport some years ago.
