Re: MAY 28 SOCIAL DINNER CHANGE OF VENUE
Hi,
I couldnt make it that night shoud be able to do the next one. A $5 linen fee?? Seriously?? what's with that!!! Or is that because we are providing 100 plus people to buy the meals????
Closer in location to me anyhow!!

What a great night... No complaints with the venue and will be taking out a K C membership. Certainly better located for those located in the southern suburbs. Scoresby Chris & Trace

Summary of Written Feedback on Voting Slips
26 people provided written feedback on various aspects with generally positive comments about the venue, the parking, the food, the prices, and the service.
On the negative side, the major theme was that we needed more tables & chairs. With numbers at CPCC averaging no more than 60 over recent months, we set up for 90 last night, and 103 adults and several children turned up. This led to a group of 10 being accommodated in the bistro so as they could have their meal and when they had finished they joined the main group in the Canterbury room for the speeches and raffles. Some of this group also suffered long delays in receiving their meals. This was an unsatisfactory situation and in future we will set up for a larger group with more tables & chairs.
3 people found it noisy (100+ people will do that!!)
2 people expressed concern about the $5/table linen fee, and this will be raised in our discussions with Kilsyth Club.

Re: MAY 28 SOCIAL DINNER CHANGE OF VENUE
I don't think Kilsyth were expecting that amount of people, I allowed for the fact that we may have overwhelmed them with No's but as you pointed out, was no worse than Chirnside, and it is modern, and M'ship offers great value on both meals and drinks! Regards Mick.

Liz & I found it great!
Especially given it was a trial run.
Food Great
Wine selection not great but adequate.
Good modern venue
Que for ordering got a bit long but really when compared with Chirnside not that much longer.
Food delivery to table was quick once ordered.
We are more than happy to change.
Chirnside is past its use by date. Very much in need of a refurb both in the dinning area and out in the kitchen. Same Specials just about every month!
LETS DO IT!!

Re: MAY 28 SOCIAL DINNER CHANGE OF VENUE
G'day,Bruce. Good to hear you are up and about, really hope all is well for you now. Last night went off very well in my opinion, and I had only positive feedback. I haven't seen a bigger rollup for a monthly dinner as this one, and our meals and service were great. Regards Mick.

MAY 28 SOCIAL DINNER CHANGE OF VENUE
This is to let you know that our social night on Thursday 28th May will be held at Club Kilysth, Cnr Colchester and Canterbury Rds, Bayswater North. This is a change from our usual venue at the Chirnside Park Country Club.
The reason for the change is to try out another location for our monthly social night and to get member feedback on the venue. If the majority of members like the Kilysth Club we will move the monthly dinner to the Club.
We have access to a private area of the Club in the Canterbury Room with a cut-down choice of the bistro menu including the seniors menu. Drinks will be at bar prices.
If you are a member of Club Kilsyth (or Club Ringwood) you are entitled to discounted drinks & meals. If you aren’t a member, you can simply sign in on the night or join the Club for an annual fee of $10.
So, if you want to check out the Kilsyth Club and give your feedback to the Committee come along from 6.00pm on Thursday 28th May.
If you have any questions about this trial of a different venue, please call me on 0419 312 186.
